Welcome to HouseLink Africa (“we,” “our,” “us”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the HouseLink Africa website, mobile applications, and related services (“the Platform”).

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility: Users must be 18 years or older to create an account or list a property.
2. Account Responsibilities: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and for all activities under your account.
3. Property Listings: All listings must be accurate, lawful, and up to date. False or misleading information will lead to suspension or termination.
4. Limitation of Liability: HouseLink Africa acts as a platform connecting buyers, sellers, and agents and is not liable for transactions between third parties.
5. Amendments: We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice.

2. Privacy Policy

We collect personal information such as your name, contact details, and usage data to provide and improve our services. Your data will not be sold or shared with unauthorized third parties. We comply with Zambia’s Data Protection Act. Users may request access, correction, or deletion of their data.

3. Refund & Payment Policy

All payments for premium listings or advertising services are processed securely. Refunds are only issued in cases of duplicate transactions or service errors on our part. Payment disputes must be reported within 7 days of the transaction.

4. Verification & Listing Policy

All properties listed on the Platform undergo a verification process, including proof of ownership and authenticity of documents. Listings with incomplete or suspicious documentation will not be published until verified.

5. Agent Registration & Compliance Policy

Registered agents and developers must provide valid business licenses and adhere to all real estate regulations in Zambia. Misrepresentation or fraud may result in immediate account termination.

6. Content & Advertising Policy

Users may upload property photos, descriptions, and promotional content, provided it complies with our ethical advertising standards. Inappropriate or misleading content will be removed.
